You'll master essential skills such as:
- Recognising and reducing immediate dangers
- Assessing injuries or conditions of an injured person
- Administering first aid
- Using first aid equipment correctly
- Performing CPR
- Calling for an ambulance or medical assistance when necessary
- Reporting an injured person’s physical condition accurately
Course Requirements
- No academic prerequisites required
- Students must be at least 18 years old when the course starts
- Students must provide their Unique Student Identifier (USI) number
- Students must have basic digital literacy skills and access to a computer or smart device
- Payment of $180 course fee
Unique Student Identifier Number
Upon registration for the course, you must provide evidence of appropriate identification. You are required to obtain a Unique Student Identification (USI) number, which can be used for all studies in Australia. Applying for a USI is mandatory and can be done online here.
