TLC Medical Centres offer influenza immunisation services to local businesses. These can be delivered on-site by highly qualified nurses who are experienced in administering large-scale vaccination programs.

TLC Medical Centres can provide pre-employment medical assessments at selected clinic locations that meet any insurance or legislative requirements your organisation may have. All medical assessments are conducted by general practitioners and may include:

• Physical & clinical examinations
• Hearing testing (Audiometry)
• Lung function testing (Spirometry)
• Heart function testing (ECGs)
• Musculoskeletal assessment
• Medical imaging (X-Rays)
• Drug & alcohol testing
• Fatigue assessments
• Vision testing
• Pathology testing
• OH&S medicals as required

The purpose of the pre-employment medical is:

1. To identify physical and psychological problems that may affect the ability of the candidate to carry out the proposed employment in a safe and effective manner
2. To advise if there are medical reasons why the position’s duties may not be suitable for the candidate
3. To identify those adjustments to employment that may be required to enable the employee to perform the job to the standard required
4. To provide a baseline health profile for statutory health surveillance to measure and detect any health changes during employment, ie. hearing and lung function capacity
