TLC Healthcare (TLC) is set to launch Australia’s first multi-generational healthcare precinct, in less than a month. Located in beautiful bayside Mordialloc, this is the first time all service areas in which TLC operates are co-located at one site, bringing much-needed integrated healthcare services to the local community.

“In an Australian first, TLC Healthcare – Mordialloc will offer 147 residential aged care places, a community medical centre, a 118-place early learning centre, a commercial health club with a 20m indoor swimming pool, and a commercial café known as “The Village Café”; all at one location."

TLC’s CEO, Lou Pascuzzi, is proud to lead a group that is reshaping the way healthcare services are delivered. “We’re challenging outdated views of what healthcare can look like. Our healthcare precinct caters to everyone, regardless of their life stage.

“Imagine you’re a Mum or Dad; you can drop off the kids at the Early Learning centre, grab a coffee or a protein shake at The Village Café, head into the health club for a workout, yoga or pilates class, see your GP at our medical centre, then go and visit one of your parents if we’re fortunate enough to be caring for them at our Whitewater aged care home.

Our Whitewater aged care home provides a state-of-the-art care environment where residents can live their best lives, interact with and share learnings with the kids at our Early Learning centre via our innovative intergenerational program, developed in collaboration with Melbourne University and Griffith University. Importantly, residents won’t have to wait for a week to see a GP, as our medical centre is literally a lift ride away.

And the local community will enjoy an incredible, cutting-edge health club, with the very latest TechnoGym equipment, yoga, pilates, group exercise classes, and an amazing glass roofed 20m pool”, says Pascuzzi.

“Delivering such in-demand, multi-generational services that are co-located provides crucial levels of comfort and security, not only to families of our residents in Whitewater aged care, but to parents of Children who attend our early centre, and people who exercise in our health club, as in the event they may need medical attention, they can be treated right here at our medical centre.

We’re launching Australia’s first multi-generational healthcare precinct with a stakeholder event in December and can’t wait for our residents and the local community to get to know our healthcare experience, which will be distinctly TLC”, Pascuzzi added.

Key dates:

  • 14 December 2022: Whitewater aged care residential placement tours commence.
  • 16 December 2022: Launch event.
