“It’s incredible to see the confidence and patience the children demonstrate with our elderly residents, and how they listen and learn from their wisdom and experiences. And the residents experience the joy of youth and can impart their knowledge and learnings to the younger generation, as they build bonds with their grand-friends”

Developed in collaboration with Melbourne University and Griffith University, the impact of TLC’s intergenerational program will be monitored and measured to ensure continuous improvement in outcomes and learnings for both the children and aged care residents participating in the program.
